Our Manhattan Kansas workshop was spectacular! In addition to a great group of talented painters, I was treated with the awesome display of courting Prairie Chickens. These have to be some of earth's most amazing creatures! I could watch them "boom" for hours. This was definitely an experience I plan to repeat. Hopefully my travels will bring me back this way again soon!

I also think that you have a great website...another way for me to vicariously experience the travel, nature, and arts that float my boat!

I'm so glad that you managed to find a prairie chicken to photograph. Will look forward to seeing it in one of your paintings.
