In my element

Three days of travel to get to the other side of the world and finally I feel like I am in my element again. Perhaps too much time in the studio makes me dream of new views, new scenery. As an artist it is so important to fill the inspiration reservoir with first-hand experience, despite difficulty or danger. Being in the moment in a place like Angkor Thom is so easy. All thoughts of the daily grind disappear and I am able to absorb everything that makes this place magical. Now my task is to translate what I experience. Time to paint. 🙂

I see the resemblance [grin] and I so understand the need to inform the artist world view. Enjoy your adventure Paul Marla and Caroline 🙂
